Where do people sit? Do you use a seating chart, place cards, or both? Then of course there is that other option of not having assigned seating and let guests sit where they want....
From personal experiences we like seating charts. It's nice to be seated with people that are of similar age, sit with family, and it's less confusing.
Our personalized seating charts are in alphabetical order for easier use by your guests. We have currently created 3 different types of seating charts:
+ Laser Cut Acrylic Mirror with LED lighting.
+ Vinyl Banner with Stand.
+ Paper Chart either mounted on foam core or placed in a frame.
In addition to the seating chart (that specifies the table) you can also have a place card with the person's name. For Jessica and Jordan's wedding we used the Mirrored Seating Chart with a combined Menu/Place Card at each place setting.

I met Jessica back in January 2011 at the
Wendy's Bridal Show. We started working on this project a week after I met her and didn't stop until a few days before the wedding October 8th. We became friends and I was lucky enough to be invited to the wedding. I loved working with her, she allowed me to be creative and do some things I'd never done before.
The wedding reception took place atop the Hancock Tower at the
Signature Room in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
I was given the task to create every piece of paper that was tied to the wedding, EVERYTHING was custom. It all started with the foil stamped save the date that set the tone and location with the Chicago Skyline. The invitation was a custom pocket folder with foil stamped and embossed flowers, foil stamped envelope liner, and embossed pocket closer. The wedding showcased an acrylic laser cut mirrored seating chart and free standing 1/2" thick acrylic table numbers. The seating chart was illuminated with changing LED lighting. Each place setting had a foil stamped round menu with each guest's name printed on the bottom. The ceremony program was Jessica's favorite piece: a subtle foil stamping with embossed and foil stamped flowers, bound with ribbon.
It's amazing to have this much fun creating new items with a bonus: making a life long friend!
